Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Service and Repair Gas Engineer to become part of our innovative team at Rock Managed Services. This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys working in the field and is adept at resolving issues efficiently. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality service to customers in your community, this role is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing maintenance and repair services on various gas appliances in residential settings.
2. Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to effectively identify and resolve issues.
3. Promoting and installing additional products as necessary to improve customer satisfaction.
4. Organizing your daily schedule to manage 6-8 service calls within your designated area.
5. Delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Induction and Training:
Induction:
8 days of comprehensive classroom training.
First Day:
Arrange your own transportation; travel expenses will be reimbursed (retain receipts).
Support and Monitoring (S&M):
Continuous support and monitoring for the initial 2-3 weeks to ensure you are comfortable and proficient in your role as a Gas Engineer.
Perks and Benefits:
Base Salary:
£43,733 per annum.
Location Allowance (LWA):
Up to £6,000, based on area.
Bonus Scheme:
Uncapped earning potential through our quarterly bonus scheme. Average earnings are around £54,000, with higher potential for those who excel in upselling and additional product fitting.
Work Schedule:
40-hour work week, spread over 5 days. Shifts may start as early as 7am and end as late as 8pm, with weekends considered core working hours. Shift patterns are provided 6 weeks in advance with an option to input shift preferences.
Overtime (OT):
Paid at time and a half.
Annual Leave:
33 days, including bank holidays.
