Social Worker Safeguarding and Care Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Safeguarding and Care Planning Team at Oldham Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting families through complex times, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and support families through complex times, ensuring the safety and well-being of children
- Work with a variety of agencies to safeguard and reduce risks around children
- Undertake court work, supported by practice development manager and team manager as required
- Model continual professional development and promote social work best practice
- Social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
