Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our Group Compliance team at Co-op Digital. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and challenging the business to deliver effective ways of working that meet legal and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across Co-op Digital to understand the issues and challenges, processes, and controls relating to regulatory compliance activities. You will identify opportunities to improve compliance activities and culture, engaging with colleagues to understand their business requirements and support their decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line assurance, reviewing compliance with the minimum requirements and providing effective MI reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to understand the issues and challenges, processes, and controls relating to regulatory compliance activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve compliance activities and culture, engaging with colleagues to understand their business requirements and support their decision-making.
  • Conduct regulatory reporting, such as developing regular updates of MI dashboards and reporting on progress against business continuity plans.

What You'll Need

  • Experience of working with legislation and policies and/or managing risk, particularly compliance risk.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide effective recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across the business.
