About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Technical Service Consultant to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and guidance to our project teams on all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on MEP systems, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct detailed MEP system evaluations, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions to optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall design and construction process.
  • Review and approve MEP design documents, specifications, and drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements and adhere to our company's high standards.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising system performance or quality.
  • Provide technical support during construction, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring MEP systems are installed and commissioned according to specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with MEP standards and project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MEP technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and recommend appropriate solutions for implementation in our projects.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering knowledge transfer and professional development within the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within Real Estate, with a strong background in MEP technical services.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with numerical data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and modeling software.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards, such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and LEED.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
