About the Role

CSC Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join a market-leading Main Contractor specializing in commercial fit-out projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the construction delivery of MEP services on fit-out projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire MEP package, from design to delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of professionals to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the supply chain to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure robust method statements, risk assessments, and quality control measures are in place to guarantee snag-free handovers.
  • Programme Management: Maintain accurate project schedules, identifying and mitigating potential delays or issues.
  • Cost Management: Collaborate with the project lead to make informed decisions on cost and programme, ensuring holistic consideration for the project's overall success.
  • Design Review: Review and comment on design information to ensure it is buildable and commissionable.
Requirements
  • Education: Relevant degree qualification in Construction, Project Management, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Proven track record in delivering projects exceeding £2m in MEP value, with experience working on fast-track fit-out projects.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge of planning processes, quality assurance, and commissioning of single systems; effective stakeholder management, and strong communication skills.
