Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Redditch. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and long-term experience of working with children on a one-to-one basis, particularly those with Autism and lower ability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEN in a one-to-one setting
  • Encourage and motivate children to access the curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with the SENCO, leadership team, and parents
  • Complete IEPs and record children's accomplishments
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification
  • Long-term experience of working with children on a one-to-one basis
  • SEN experience covering Autism and lower ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
