Job Title: MET Technician
We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive mechanical and body repairs on assigned vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Stripping: Dismantle vehicles for preparation in the panel shop.
- Diagnostic Work: Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and ensure precision in fault-finding.
- Parts Management: Order and manage replacement parts, ensuring timely delivery.
- Reassembly: Rebuild vehicles with new components, restoring them to pre-accident condition.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair environment.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Time Management: Ability to plan workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Adherence to Standards: Skilled in following manufacturers' specifications.
- Team Player: Able to collaborate well with others, while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible Approach: Adaptable, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Safety Focused: Knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
