About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our brand-new Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Witham. As an experienced MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and conducting inspections and diagnostic work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be able to plan your workload effectively, work skillfully and safely under pressure, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. You will also need to work as part of a team and be flexible in your approach. Additionally, you must be able to continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind and ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop
  • Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Order replacement parts
  • Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
Requirements
  • Experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Flexibility in approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Commitment to working to high standards and customer satisfaction
  • Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines
