As a Data Strategy Implementation Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving our data strategy forward, ensuring compliance with data regulations, and delivering high-quality data to support our business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Governance: Collaborate with the Chief Data Officer to develop and implement a robust data governance framework, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Drive Data Quality: Work with stakeholders to define and implement data quality rules, data controls, and data management standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Champion Data Excellence: Lead and manage a small team focused on data governance analysis, coaching stakeholders on data governance principles, and collaborating with data engineering teams.
  • Facilitate Data Lineage: Ensure data items are defined and captured within our data governance tools, and facilitate understanding and lineage documentation for data across its lifecycle.
  • Support Business Decisions: Provide high-quality data to support business decisions, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in data management and strategy, with a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, data modeling, and data quality management.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience of data-related regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with such regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills at all levels of stakeholders, up to Executive and Board audiences.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to influence and drive decisions, lead a small team, and manage relationships with stakeholders.
