Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Photographer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Photographer to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in all aspects of clinical, specialist clinical, scientific and non-clinical photography, including video, reprographic and multi-media imaging.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of clinical, specialist clinical, scientific and non-clinical photography, including video, reprographic and multi-media imaging.
  • Design and produce clinical educational material, including original concept illustration and animation.
  • Train and supervise junior clinical photography staff.
  • Monitor clinical photographic workflows and report issues.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our clinical photography service. The successful candidate will work closely with our lead medical photographer, support staff and senior management team to establish and maintain a new Teledermoscopy service.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in a healthcare clinical photography setting.
  • Organisational, interpersonal and operational skills needed for the post.
  • Post registration experience of clinical photography modalities.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Higher level Medical Illustration qualification.
  • Clinical use of 3D capture.
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Experience of supervision.
