Science Academic Mentor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Academic Mentor to join our team at a fantastic school in Tower Hamlets. As a Science Academic Mentor, you will provide invaluable guidance to students during their GCSEs and A-Levels, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to give back to students in Tower Hamlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 academic support to students in multiple A-Level subjects
  • Run group sessions for students who need additional support
  • Work with students in the Sixth Form Centre who require help with their exam prep
Requirements:
  • Previous child-centered experience or tutoring/mentoring experience
  • Aspirations of becoming a qualified Teacher or working in Education
  • Science-related degree from a Top 30 UK University
  • Desire to work with students who have Special Educational and Mental Health needs
