We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cook/Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting healthy eating and providing nutritious meals for our children and young people, contributing to their overall wellbeing. This role involves cooking and housekeeping duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness in our facilities and ensure the safety and comfort of our sites.
Aspris Children's Services is a unique organization that caters to 11–18-year-old students with social, emotional, mental health difficulties, and complex learning needs.
The successful candidate will work full time for 39 weeks of the year during term time. Flexibility in working hours can be discussed at the interview stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication: Interacting with young people to understand their needs and effectively communicate with other staff.
- Organisation: Updating menus, recording dietary requirements, and reporting relevant information for the care of young people.
- Attentiveness: Being observant and responsive to the individual needs of each young person.
