About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursery Chef to join our team at Beaumont House Nursery in Twickenham. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for 70 children, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our children.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food production, inventory, and cost control.
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary staff to ensure excellent service and high standards of food safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high standards of care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Food & Hygiene Level Certificate Level 3 (or at least a level 2).
  • Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and culinary techniques.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
