Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Term Time Teachers. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a variety of educational settings.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special needs
  • Implement tailored learning plans and adapted teaching materials
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents
Requirements:
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children (essential)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility and creativity to adapting to student needs
  • Experience with special educational needs (desirable, not essential)

Location:

Crowborough, East Sussex

Pay:

£85-100 per day. This is equivalent to £425-£500 per week Full-Time. Day rate is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Hours:

8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday. Full-time and part-time positions available

Contract:

day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent positions available

Year:

Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-13 ages 4-19)

Qualifications:

GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.
