Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Term Time Teachers. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a variety of schools and settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special needs
  • Implement tailored learning plans and adapted teaching materials
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents
Requirements:
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility and creativity to adapting to student needs
  • Experience with special educational needs (desirable, not essential)

Location: Crowborough, East Sussex. Pay: £85-100 per day. Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday. Contract: day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent positions available. Year: Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-13 ages 4-19). Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.
