We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Policy Manager to join our team at NHS Shared Business Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our procurement strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of new procurement regulations and ensure seamless integration into our business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations, laws, and industry developments, providing expert guidance to stakeholders.
  • Develop and present strategic action plans to address compliance gaps and improve procurement processes.
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure colleagues understand updated policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives focused on tendering practices within the NHS environment, with a focus on Cabinet Office spend controls.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in UK public sector procurement policy and legislation.
  • Experience working within a public sector procurement team and dealing with procurement policy.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to present to large audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualification.
  • Project Management qualifications or experience.
  • Established networks within the public sector, including policy teams in government and DHSC.
