About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Nurse to join our team at Operose Health. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading our nursing teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with regional nursing, operational, and GP team members to ensure targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards.
  • Provide expert care for patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care, while demonstrating safe and effective clinical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
  • Support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as needed to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of clinical aspects, demonstrating clinical excellence in conjunction with the site clinical lead.
Requirements
  • First-level UK registered nurse or registered AHCP with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
  • Non-medical Prescriber.
  • Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links.
  • Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams.
  • Understanding of the Lead Role.
