Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Benfleet. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination of customer projects or orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project engineering support and coordination/management of specified customer projects or orders.
  • Work within the Projects office in a team of 5 to provide technical support and coordination.
  • Use knowledge of PLC's, HMI software, and SCADA systems to provide in-house programming and fault finding.
  • Liaise with design draughtsman, project engineers, and electrical workshops in all aspects of the company's electrical/electronic engineering activities.
  • Develop and maintain electrical designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Travel worldwide to provide on-site services to customers.
  • Meet the company's quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • ONC level or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of PLC's, HMI software, and SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of Eplan and AutoCAD based software.
  • Electrical design, manufacture, installation, or maintenance background.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.
  • British or EU passport.
