We expect you to exhibit exceptional clinical and communication skills, alongside a commitment to continuous improvement in nursing practices through ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Management of chronic illnesses.
- Implementation of infection control protocols.
- Administration of immunizations for both children and adults.
- Conducting cervical screening procedures.
- Overseeing long-term condition management.
- Performing dressing changes and wound care.

Job Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, registrations, skills, and experience:
- A relevant nursing degree.
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
- Experience in primary care is preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in treatment room consultations, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of chronic conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
- A compassionate demeanor with an empathetic approach, valuing the dignity of patients, their families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting patients with long-term conditions.
- Awareness of current issues affecting nursing and the broader healthcare system.
Qualifications

- Qualification in Practice Nursing.

- Certification in Phlebotomy.
- Proficiency in managing leg ulcer dressings.
- Qualification in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) management.
