Key Responsibilities:
  • Manning of the Reception Desk: You will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and contractors, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Supervision of Tradesmen and Contractors: You will be responsible for supervising all visiting tradesmen and contractors, reporting any concerns to the Managing Agents, and ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Assisting Residents and Visitors: You will provide assistance to residents and visitors, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting Incidents and Issues: You will report any incidents, disturbances, or emergencies to the Managing Agents, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to resolve the issue.
  • Monitoring Site Conditions: You will monitor the site conditions, reporting any issues to the Managing Agents, and ensuring that all necessary maintenance is carried out to prevent any potential problems.
  • Security and Access Control: You will be responsible for identifying and challenging unknown visitors, preventing unauthorized entry, and reporting any suspected loitering to the Managing Agents.
  • Health and Safety: You will identify any potential health and safety risks, reporting them to the Managing Agents, and ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to mitigate these risks.
  • Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate records, including a diary, incident book, contractor's logbook, and accident book, and notify the Managing Agents of any defects in the building and action taken.
  • Patrolling and Security Checks: You will patrol the common parts and grounds, checking security at least twice per shift, and reporting any issues to the Managing Agents.
  • Key Holding and Delivery: You will only hold residents' door keys with their express agreement and relevant indemnities, and ensure that receipts are recorded correctly.
  • Rubbish Collection: You will collect rubbish bags left outside flats once daily at the beginning of each shift or as and when found, and put them in the rubbish bins.
  • Key Fob Issuance and Maintenance: You will issue key fobs and maintain an up-to-date record of all key fobs.
  • CCTV Operation: You will operate the CCTV system, ensuring that it is functioning correctly and reporting any issues to the Managing Agents.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be able to work a varied shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.

Working Hours: The working hours for this role will be as follows:

  • Monday: 15:00 - 19:00
  • Tuesday: 15:30 - 19:00
  • Wednesday: 15:30 - 19:00
  • Thursday: 15:00 - 19:00
  • Friday: 15:30 - 19:00
  • Saturday: 07:00 - 13:00

Salary: The salary for this role is £17,000 per annum.
