Shift: Night Shift (7pm-7am)

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our team at Blackfield Associates in Southampton. As a key member of our production team, you will provide essential support across high-speed manufacturing and plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimal performance and maintenance of production equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Contribute to process improvements and continuous development initiatives
  • Work closely with production teams to enhance equipment availability and product quality
  • Participate in new equipment projects and contribute to the development of manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems
