Manufacturing Support Engineer

Copello is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our team in a leading regulated manufacturing organization based in the outskirts of Southampton. This permanent role will support all manufacturing systems, providing reactive and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in manufacturing equipment installations and qualification
  • Diagnose root causes of process failures and breakdowns
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (GMP, Medical Device, FMCG, Food, or high-volume manufacturing)
  • ONC/HNC or similar in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Time-served Apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
  • Understanding of PLC-controlled manufacturing platforms
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience, with a bias towards Electrical maintenance

This is a night shift role (7am-7pm), with a 4-on-4-off schedule.
