Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to build strong relationships with key donors and secure major funding to support our mission.
  • Develop and execute a major gifts strategy, set clear targets and manage an annual budget to ensure growth in income.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-level donors, including institutional funders, to secure substantial gifts.
  • Work collaboratively with the CEO, Trustees and other stakeholders to cultivate new opportunities.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of fundraising from generous individuals and trusts.
  • Experience building effective long-term relationships and influencing with Major Donors.
  • Experience leading a successful team and working at a strategic level.
  • Knowledge of philanthropy in the UK and trends in the sector.
  • Knowledge of budget preparation and control.
  • An understanding of the provisions of GDPR legislation and the implications for fundraising.
  • To be educated to degree level.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £53,000 per annum, annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year plus 8 paid public holidays per year, and a non-contributory pension scheme.
