Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Engine Test Engineer to join our team at Seismic Recruitment. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering objectives and contributing to the development of engine installation packs and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate test bed setups and engine installation packs
  • Process and validate engine test data
  • Analyse engine data and identify trends and causes for concern
  • Track project efficiency and maintain project-related invoicing
  • Devise and lead initiatives to reduce waste and optimize efficiency

Requirements:

  • Automotive/Mechanical Engineering HND, Degree, or relevant experience in testbed operation
  • Experience in an automotive engineering discipline
  • Test bed experience in an automotive testing environment
  • Excellent understanding of gasoline and diesel engine mechanical fundamentals
  • Working closely with customer engineering teams to establish and carry out test programs
  • Experience of a wide variety of engine types (Petrol, Diesel, High Performance, Heavy Duty, Alternative Fuels)
