About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior M&E Technician to join our team at Arla Foods in Westbury. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site by carrying out reactive, proactive, and servicing activities.

You will utilize CMMS systems and reporting suites to drive projects, including non-capex modifications, capex, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and improving our equipment, including milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators, process systems, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a fast-paced food manufacturing site with critical line maintenance
  • Carry out reactive, proactive, and servicing activities
  • Utilize CMMS systems and reporting suites
  • Drive projects, including non-capex modifications, capex, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and improve equipment, including milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators, process systems, and more
Requirements
  • Ambition & drive
  • Experience as a multiskilled engineer (shift engineer/maintenance engineer/engineering technician) and the likes either mechanically/electrically or true multiskilled
  • Time served/NVQ Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND qualified or proven experience with fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Experience with fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLC's (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
  • Computer literate – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI'S
