Sustainability Expert

About the Company: X4 Technology is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join their Consulting division team. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry and the ability to strategically advise and support businesses through their Sustainability journey.
The ideal candidate will have experience in writing technical business requirements and coordinating projects and tasks for ESG and sustainability delivery of products and services. This is a full-time permanent position, but a contractor will be considered in the interim.
The role involves working with clients to understand, scope, and document business and technical requirements for a sustainability data platform and BI tool. The Sustainability Expert will also be responsible for:
- Developing expertise in IBM Envizi ESG Suite and other ESG Platform software.
- Working with Project Management to ensure delivery of the best solution for multiple clients, including user training and ongoing support.
- Collaborating with clients and internally to deliver legislatively compliant work, including CSRD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies for clients.
- Conduct ESG data analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ESG solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sustainability.
Requirements:
- Experience in sustainability consulting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ESG data topics and sustainability regulation and compliance.
- Knowledge of GHG protocol and categories.
- Understanding of CSRD and Science-based methodologies.
- Data mapping and consolidating skills.
