Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Belfast Real Estate team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project management commissions, ensuring client objectives are met, and delivering projects to time, cost, and quality targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets.

Scope:

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, depending on the complexity of the project. The normal value would be up to £40m, but it can be larger for advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage.
  • Leading the establishment of overall success criteria for the project.
  • Planning for and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems.
  • Project planning, including ensuring the production of a detailed project plan.
  • Advising on the procurement of resources.
  • Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing the change control process.
  • Monitoring and advising on project finances.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client.
  • Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.

Marketing and Business Development:

  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
  • Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities.
  • Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • Attending formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality project management services across the full project lifecycle.
  • Ideally professionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar).
  • Degree or HNC level qualification.
