Trade Operations Lead Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Trade Operations Subject Matter Expert to join our trade settlements team. The successful candidate will support the Manager of the team in delivering the team's responsibilities, ensuring that equity, fixed income, Repo, FX, and Unit Trust trades are managed through to settlement, and any settlement issues or fails are proactively dealt with and resolved.

  • Record, investigate, and resolve trade-related interest claims and report any associated costs to senior management in a timely manner.
  • Perform functions in line with established business controls.
  • Assist in training staff as required on new and existing processes to ensure all tasks can be covered across the team.
The Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications You Need:
  1. Prior experience gained in a Trade Management function within a Financial Services Operational team supporting equity, fixed income, Repo, FX, and Unit Trust asset classes.
  2. Good market knowledge and understanding of local market regulations and settlement processes.
  3. Experience of investigating interest claims.
  4. Strong understanding of operational risks and control frameworks.
The Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications That Will Help:
  1. Wider experience in Asset Management and understanding of the end-to-end asset lifecycle.

  1. An expert in your field and a strong mentor to the team's Specialists.
  2. Good at analysing and solving problems with a strong handle on operational risk.
