Trade Operations Lead Analyst

We're seeking an experienced Trade Operations Subject Matter Expert to join our trade settlements team. As a Trade Operations Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth settlement of equity, fixed income, Repo, FX, and Unit Trust trades. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving settlement issues and interest claims in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure trade settlements are performed in line with established business controls
  • Investigate and resolve trade-related interest claims and report associated costs to senior management
  • Assist in training staff on new and existing processes
  • Contribute to department and company initiatives and projects

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a Trade Management function within a Financial Services Operational team
  • Good market knowledge and understanding of local market regulations and settlement processes
  • Experience in investigating interest claims
  • Strong understanding of operational risks and control frameworks
