JOB OVERVIEW

As a Cybersecurity Operations Leader at Creditsafe, you will spearhead the management of our Security Operations Centre, Application Security, and Security Engineering divisions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's security maturity in accordance with our existing ISO certifications and the implementation of SOC2 controls. This role demands a seasoned, highly skilled, and driven professional committed to refining our security strategies to protect vital assets and ensure operational resilience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the daily functions of the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Security Engineering teams.
  • Produce comprehensive reports on essential security metrics encompassing Security Operations, Application Security, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, Performance Evaluations, and Personal Development Plans for team members.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, processes, and procedures to comply with SOC2 and ISO standards.
  • Participate in Steering groups focused on Identity and Access Management and Data Protection.
  • Set and align team objectives and tasks to support the overarching Information Security and Compliance strategy.
  • Engage in Quarterly Business Reviews with our security tool vendors, providing insights on product features and requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to maintain and enhance the organization's information security posture.
  • Conduct regular Technical Readiness Reviews and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks, implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Assist in the Request For Information process by delivering technical responses to inquiries from both current and prospective clients.
  • Offer leadership and technical direction to team members.
  • Oversee security incident investigations alongside the Security Incident specialist to safeguard corporate IT assets.
  • Monitor and evaluate security alerts, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Report on key performance indicators and trends relevant to the organization's information security.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possess a professional security management certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing security operations teams within a related sector.
  • Familiarity with SOC2, PCI-DSS, and ISO standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Cloud security certifications such as ISC2 CCSP, CSA CCSK, AWS Security Specialty.
  • ISO Lead Implementor certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud and on-premises technology environments, including security solutions.
  • Knowledge of Financial Industry regulations (UK and Europe).
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex security issues to non-technical audiences.
