Personal Care Assistant

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude and an understanding of positive behavior support, ensuring that all service users experience the highest quality of life while fostering independence.

Key Responsibilities:

– Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet the service's needs, including days, nights, and weekends on a scheduled basis.
– Uphold and advocate for the rights and entitlements of individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviors, and physical disabilities, enabling them to engage fully in their communities and maintain connections.
– Provide dignified personal care in line with the preferences and routines outlined in each individual's support plan.
– Assist service users in ensuring their living environments are safe, secure, clean, and comfortable.
– Adapt to the evolving needs and preferences of service users.

While prior experience is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite for this position. We are looking for individuals who embody the right values and are eager to positively impact the lives of all service users. A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
