About the Role

This 12-month fixed-term contract is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Private Markets Operations team at abrdn. As an Assistant Fund Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the Real Estate Operations Senior Manager and the Investment teams in achieving their goals of excellent service, scalability, efficiency, and global consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Fund Controllers to meet key deliverables, including sending supporting documentation to service providers.
  • Support AML/KYC processes and engage with the Tax Structuring team on funding split (equity/IC loan).
  • Assist with funding activities, including liquidity planning, organising capital calls, and preparing board meeting documentation.
  • Prepare drawdown notices and set up payments in online banking systems.
  • Support lending bank covenant reporting and client standard/bespoke financial reporting.
  • Assist with bank account set-up and treasury sheet maintenance.
  • Prepare files summarising fund metrics (PDCT) and perform payment setup using various online banking platforms.
  • Provide audit support.
