The Warehouse Operative is responsible for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintaining quality standards as directed by the Line Manager.

This role encompasses the complete warehouse logistics process, from receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products to our extensive customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and unload raw materials efficiently.
  • Organize and store materials within the warehouse.
  • Transport goods to production areas as needed.
  • Load finished products for delivery.
  • Accurately compile orders according to customer specifications.
  • Manage and monitor stock levels within the warehouse.
  • Adhere to tight schedules to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Follow health and safety protocols, including any current Covid-19 guidelines.
  • Ensure smooth shift transitions and handovers.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping audits to uphold standards.
Collaboration and Communication

Maintain positive relationships and effective communication with the Line Manager and team members.

Qualifications
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
  • Experience operating reach and counterbalance trucks is highly desirable.
  • Forklift, Reach, or VNA certification is preferred; training can be provided.
  • Demonstrated reliability and good attendance record.
  • Significant experience in a warehouse setting is required.
  • Must be flexible and dependable.
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required (training will be provided).
