About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PKI Engineer to join our client's team. As a PKI Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and ensuring the security of cryptographic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and support PKI solutions and environments.
  • Analyse current use of certificates and assist onboarding new teams into the PKI service.
  • Work with Cyber vulnerability assessment teams to prioritise onboarding to automated certificate management.
  • Manage Key Management Systems (KMS) to ensure robust cryptographic key security.
  • Support and manage PKI and Certificate deployment and automation.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Information and/or Cyber Security.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices and an understanding of security frameworks e.g., NIST, ISO27001.
  • Experience of PKI systems and services, ACME protocol, use of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Certificate Authority Administration, ADCS monitoring, and related tasks.
  • Understanding in PKI machine identity technologies such as SSH, SSL, TLS.
  • Experience supporting Key Management Systems (KMS) for cryptographic key security.
