About the Role

Cathcart Technology is seeking an experienced Data Management Manager to lead the development of our data strategy and drive business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business objectives and future growth plans.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and efficient data architecture that enables effective data storage, processing, and retrieval across all platforms.
  • Lead the data team in architecting and implementing data solutions that support business growth at scale.
  • Make key technical and architectural decisions that align with business objectives and ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
  • Develop and own the organization's data strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and future growth plans.
  • Define clear goals for data management, analytics, and governance, and translate these into actionable roadmaps for the data team.
  • Guide the execution of the data strategy, ensuring that architecture, tooling, and processes support the seamless integration and usage of data across the organization.
  • Advocate for the use of advanced data techniques, such as machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics, to solve complex business problems and unlock new opportunities.
  • Experience in an Agile software environment (ideally SaaS).
Requirements
  • Having managed a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Analysts, across a thriving, data-first business.
  • Data Architecture background.
  • Ability to be 'hands-on' with the data when needed.
