Job Summary:

First Military Recruitment is seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver to join our team. As a 3.5 Tonne Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for driving a tail lift vehicle and ensuring the safe and professional delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 3.5 tonne tail lift vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete all required paperwork at the point of delivery or collection.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
  • Operate in accordance with training and company policies at all times.
  • Comply with Health and Safety legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the delivery vehicle is roadworthy and complete daily vehicle walk rounds.

Requirements:

  • A full UK license enabling you to drive 3.5 tonne vehicles.
  • Zero endorsements or a maximum of 6 points.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent driving skills and a positive approach to Health and Safety.
  • Knowledge of the local area and experience working in a Builders Merchant would be beneficial.
