Job Title: Recovery Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Recovery Driver to join our team at Westbourne Motors. As a Recovery Driver, you will be responsible for safely recovering vehicles from breakdowns or accidents within a 100 km radius working area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recover vehicles from breakdowns or accidents using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles, to transport recovered vehicles to a safe location.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often in challenging weather conditions, to ensure timely and efficient recovery of vehicles.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of recovery efforts.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year's driving experience in vehicles above 7500 kgs.
  • Valid C licence grade or above.
  • Technical background is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Current digital tachograph card is essential.
  • Preferably with 35 hours of CPC training.
  • Subject to CRB checks.
What We Offer:
  • Annual salary of £34,000 for post holders with HGV C License.
  • Salary for CE holders increases to £36,000 annually.
