About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Care and Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical disabilities to maximise their potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and live independently
- Key work with individuals to develop and implement care plans
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
- Deliver high-quality, personalised care and support services, including personal care and medication management
- Support customers to engage in activities and participate in their local community
- Promote a positive culture and prevent social isolation
- Work collaboratively with customers and colleagues to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
- Promote safe practices and undertake risk assessments
Requirements
- Prior experience in delivering personal care is desirable
- A kind, caring nature and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of customers
- Excellent organisational skills
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards, is desirable
