Financial Analyst

Kenton Black Finance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Controller and contributing to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ad hoc reports
- Support with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack
- Provide support at year end
- Assist with preparing information for internal and external audits
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of ledgers and journals
- Support with AP and credit control as required
- Responsibility for payroll processing
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to deliver financial insight and advice
- Actively studying CIMA/ACCA or be AAT qualified and keen to continue further study
- Strong systems skills, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLookups) with experience of handling large and complex data sets
- Exposure to month end and management accounting processes
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ongoing support and training from the Financial Controller
