About the Role

Campingland Surgery, a leading provider of primary care services, is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in transforming and modernizing pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level expertise within the specialist service, offering advice, education, and support to staff, patients, families, and carers.
  • Practice autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner within the designated speciality area, providing patient-centered clinical care, including advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice.
  • Support the development of new ways of working to emphasize a more efficient and patient-focused service, ensuring the safe treatment, referral, and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in their area.
  • Lead the ongoing development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Our current population is approximately 7500, and we have an onsite dispensary and provide medication support to our 2 care homes that we look after.

Person Specification

  • Professional registration with relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC, or GPhC.
  • Post-graduate qualification in specific speciality, or equivalent experience.
  • Post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in specialty area.
