About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Management Systems Engineer to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Quality team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing management of an integrated health, safety, and quality management system aligned to ISO45001:2018 and ISO9001:2015 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of Health, Safety, and Quality standards, processes, and supporting documentation.
  • Establish an effective risk-based internal audit and assurance program, ensuring suitably competent auditors are in place across the organization.
  • Support the implementation of an effective supplier audit program.
  • Develop and maintain a non-conformance process to ensure issues identified are managed and tracked to verifiable closure.
  • Develop and maintain a 'Management Review' activity to provide reporting and feedback to leadership regarding the effectiveness and operation of the management system.
  • Set out a Quality Maturity Model implementation plan with a view to implementation and management.
  • Ensure a process is in place for consistent quality reporting established throughout the organization and its contractors in accordance with those metrics and KPIs required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with external bodies with responsibility for management system certification.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Trained and experienced Lead Auditor.
  • Understanding of the control of sub-contractor operations.
  • Addresses behaviors that conflict with our values and health, safety, and wellbeing safety commitments.

Nice to Have:

  • Telecoms experience.
  • HSEQ higher-level qualifications, e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Knowledge of other management system standards, such as ISO27001, ISO55001, ISO22301.
