Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Assembler to join our team at W P Recruitment HR Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting a range of main and subassemblies using appropriate techniques, tools, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit a range of main and subassemblies using detailed parts and appropriate techniques, tools, and fixtures.
  • Read and understand processes and procedures to meet all required quality standards.
  • Produce first-off production units and work on mechanical assemblies.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, customer specifications, and health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in fitting and assembly, plus a recognized industry-related apprenticeship or NVQ 3 or City and Guilds 3 qualification.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
