W P RECRUITMENT HR LTD is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for electronic and mechanical assembly, using a variety of plastic components and connectors, printed circuit boards and cables. You will work to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards, and adhere to health & safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Electronic and mechanical assembly
Use of hand and small power tools
Working to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards
Adherence to health & safety guidelines
Requirements:
A good level of previous electronics assembly experience is required
Soldering experience is an advantage
Experience within the aerospace or automotive industries is preferred
Experience of SMT is an advantage
Good attention to detail, manual dexterity and high-quality standards
Ability to work on own initiative, to instruction and timescales, as well as part of a team
Benefits:
Starting salary of £11.44 per hour
