Scientific Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our sales and marketing team at ICT International. As a Scientific Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving sales and marketing activities for our core and complementary products in plant water use and status, soil and environmental monitoring instruments and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our sales and marketing team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for our products.
- Recommend science-based solutions to customers for their soil, plant, and environmental research and monitoring needs.
- Attend to and manage customer enquiries on a daily basis, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Maintain and update our Customer Relationship Management System to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
- Provide technical support to customers through problem-solving and troubleshooting, either physically or remotely.
- Assist in developing marketing and sales plans and targets to promote our core and complementary products.
- Assist in the updating of product catalogues, brochures, and other marketing and product materials.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and participating in trade shows for our core and complementary products.
- Liaise with our product managers, engineers, and principal suppliers on matters related to sales and marketing of our products.
- Manage global distributors in the sales and marketing of our products.
- Liaise with our Orders Processing and Dispatch team to ensure timely processing and delivery of customer orders and maintenance of stock levels.
Personal Development and Training:
- Participate actively in product launch and training courses organized by ICT International and key product suppliers.
- Stay up-to-date with scientific and technological developments in plant water use and status, soil and environmental monitoring, and key plant physiological parameters.
Location:
The position will be located with our team in Armidale or with our scientist in Adelaide.
About You:
- Essential Qualifications: Tertiary Qualification in Agricultural or Plant Science.
- Work experience and skills: Experience in laboratory and field experiments involving plant, soil, and environmental science. Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices in agricultural science. Ability to work and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Competent user across Microsoft Applications and Windows environment. Working with cross-functional teams.

Strong communicator with excellent communication, presentation skills, and training skills. Strong goal and achievement focus. Customer-focused, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
