Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our team in St. Austell, Cornwall. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and installing electrical and instrumentation systems for our processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and install electrical and instrumentation systems in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure new designs and modifications meet health and safety standards.
  • Witness electrical and instrumentation panel manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.
  • Manage electrical and instrumentation design throughout the engineering, fabrication, and commissioning phases.
  • Develop and design systems, specifying controls philosophy for HMI, SCADA, and DCS.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in a relevant field or time served in an electrical & instrumentation design role.
  • Understanding of PLCs and automation.
  • Knowledge of UK regulations regarding electrical systems.
  • Understanding of electrical power distribution and protection for high, medium, and low voltages.
