Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor

Black Fox Solutions is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor/Engineer with a construction background to join our team.

About the Role:

We are a medium-sized civil engineering company with 25 years of expertise in civil engineering and directional drilling. Our ideal candidate will have a construction qualification in quantity surveying/engineering and a minimum of 2 years proven experience within construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking levels and conducting site visits to check work progress and maintain records.
  • Keeping accurate records of labour, materials, and other expenses, and ordering and recording materials.
  • Measuring up, noting any design changes and their effect on cost, and entering all projected costs and material estimates.
  • Providing support and input for tenders and bids, and working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • Construction qualification in quantity surveying/engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience within construction.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.
