We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team at Jarvis Johnson. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of our operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Training and Development: Deliver training programs to promote safe behaviors and working practices, and communicate areas of concern to management.
- SHE Management System: Develop and maintain our SHE management system, ensuring it is effective and up-to-date.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee and monitor day-to-day practices and conformance to SHE policies and procedures.
- Compliance Checks: Conduct regular compliance checks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Health Surveillance Plan: Own and manage our health surveillance plan, ensuring it is comprehensive and effective.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate (NVQ Level 3 equivalent) and membership of ISOH, IEMA, and/or IES.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £38k - £40k per annum, plus an excellent benefits package. A driving license and own vehicle are recommended, but not essential, as our site is easily accessible by public transport.
