About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced chefs in preparing and cooking high-quality food for our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Stock Management: Assist with the ordering and storage of ingredients, as well as the maintenance of accurate stock levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all clients and customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Flexibility: A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Training and Development: A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to completing the apprenticeship program.
