Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Assistant to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth management of our cash flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: You will be responsible for handling daily banking operations, including cash allocation, cash forecasting, and reconciliation. You will also be required to manage cash in and cash out processes, minimizing unallocated cash and ensuring accurate financial planning.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure seamless financial transactions and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: You will utilize financial software, such as Sage, to manage and report financial data, and perform tasks using advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions.
  • Continuous Improvement: You will identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance our financial operations and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have proven experience in daily banking, preferably with APAC currencies, and a strong understanding of cash allocation and cash forecasting.
  • Skills: You will possess high-level accuracy and attention to detail, proficient reconciliation skills, and experience with Sage accounting software.
  • Education and Qualifications: You will have a strong educational background in finance or a related field, and relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
  • Location: You will be based locally in Reigate or willing to work mostly office-based during the critical learning stage.
