Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
About the Role:
We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Engage Partners, a leading provider of educational services for vulnerable students. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a critical role in supporting our students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with SEMH needs, focusing on behaviour management and emotional regulation.
- Develop and implement behaviour plans to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in outdoor learning activities, including Horticulture, Forest School, Horse Riding and Equine Studies.
- Contribute to the development of creative subjects, such as Ceramics, Food Technology and Art & Textiles.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs, particularly attachment and trauma.
- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to de-escalate challenging behaviour.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in all aspects of school life.
